Department of Trade and Industry’s National MSME Summit 2018

The National MSME Summit 2018 is a convention for aspiring entrepreneurs, academicians, enablers, business experts, and other stakeholders nationwide that introduces the 7M framework which was initiated during the 2017 ASEAN Summit, then hosted by the Philippines.

The event had a theme of “Accelerating 7Ms for Competitive MSME,” featured various opportunities and initiatives under the so-called 7M framework. The framework, which stands for Mindset Change, Mastery, Mentoring, Money, Machine, Market Access and Models of Business. It also recognized public and private industry experts and business owners as they are the main driving force of the said framework of our government’s economic vision.

Mica F. Tan was part of the 5th Session entitled as “Markets” of the National MSME Summit 2018 that casted distinct business personalities. The session tackled the strategies that MSMEs must do to improve their domestic marketing and on how to take advantage of the current global economic trends of our world today.
