The country’s first and only business reality TV show, The Final Pitch, is returning on CNN this September. Its fourth season continues to connect aspiring entrepreneurs with the most established businessmen in the Philippines.

“We are excited for this season’s run. We can’t wait for our entrepreneurs to grow their businesses with the help of our investor-judges,” says the show’s host and creator, John Aguilar. “Every season is different and has something new to offer. Our investors are looking forward to discovering our country’s newest set of rising entrepreneurs and hear their pitches and amazing stories.”

This reality show begins with a screening where candidates make their initial pitch to the panel of investor-judges. Once selected, participants undergo a boot camp complete with mentoring sessions and challenges. Then, their journey concludes with the “Final Pitch” to investor-judges who will negotiate their final offer to the entrepreneurs.

Judges on a mission
Previous seasons’ investor-judges like Mega Global Corporation CEO William Tiu Lim is returning for the 4th season. Just like last year, he’s looking for different businesses to diversify his investments.

Meanwhile, tech-driven businessmen like Philippines AirAsia co-founder Congressman Mikee Romero, blockchain evangelist and Tagcash Ltd. founder Mark Vernon, and president and CEO of Baskin Robins Philippines Michael Dargani will seek ventures that utilize tech in different industries.

Also returning to the show, MFT Group of Companies CEO Mica Tan seeks to create values in companies through strategy and support.

This season’s mentors include Joel Santos of Thames International Business School, Junie del Mundo of EON The Stakeholder Relations Group, and Mark Gorriceta of Gorriceta Law.

Host Aguilar says we can expect more sophisticated and mature startups in the new season.
